ROPE RECUE DRILL
August 6, 2009

On Thursday August 6th we had a drill to demonstrate how all of our ropes, knots, rope rigging equipment, as well as the stokes basket and backboard all work together.

It began with a brief classroom overview of the different types of ropes and knots that we use.  Then we went to the school for the practical part of the drill where we "rescued" the victim (a few rolls of fire-hose) off the roof from where "he" fell and got injured.  Here are some pictures.....
