With the arrival of the new Seagrave Pumper/Rescue the Fire Department has also purchased an Avon ERB 380 rescue boat along with a 15 HP outboard motor.
Saturday May 30th 2009 was its "MAIDEN VOYAGE"
The boat is an inflatable boat which is stored in a compartment on the new truck which can be inflated with SCBA bottles and in the water within 5 minutes.
Here is the Boat (the big red bag), the motor, and everything else needed to get ready for the "High Seas"
Notice the "Pull Out Tool Board" specially
designed for the outboard motor.
Life Vest On. Helmets On. Safety is ALWAYS the HIGHEST PRIORITY.
The boat handled and performed perfectly.
