Every year, Revolutionary War re-enactors come to South Bound Brook and spend a
weekend at the Abraham Staats house to recreate battles from the Battle of Bound
Brook "Washington's Army at Middlebrook" which took place from 1777 through
1779.

During this weekend the South Bound Brook Fire Company hosts an All You Can Eat Breakfast Buffet which gives people from the public a chance to come down and have breakfast and mingle with the war re-enactors in full dress.
